Laborer – Concrete

Job Summary

We’re seeking a dependable and hardworking Concrete Laborer to join our team. In this role, you’ll assist the project foreman with preparing job sites, loading and unloading materials, clearing debris, supporting crew members, and performing general labor tasks. The ideal candidate is a team player with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a positive, can-do attitude. Responsibilities

1. Demonstrate basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
2. Ask a supervisor for clarification on any task or safety concern before proceeding.
3. Learn and follow all safety protocols related to the job.
4. Safely and effectively use tools and equipment related to concrete work.
5. Seek opportunities to improve techniques and processes; be open to learning from others.
6. Maintain a respectful and cooperative attitude with all team members.
7. Consistently produce quality work while maintaining a safe and productive pace.
8. Communicate any needs for materials, tools, or equipment to ensure efficient progress.

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Physical Requirements

1. Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including but not limited to: safety-toed boots, gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection, hard hat, and reflective vest.
2. Frequent reaching above shoulder level and below the waist.
3. Regular stooping, kneeling, and bending.
4. Occasional use of phones, computers, and email to communicate with team members and vendors.
5. Ability to navigate confined, cluttered, or uneven work areas.
6. Compliance with all safety standards and practices.
7. Frequent use of hands for lifting, carrying, and handling tools or materials.
8. Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 80 lbs on a regular basis.
9. Willingness to perform physically demanding work in varying weather and outdoor conditions, often for extended hours.
